Today marks the exact midpoint of the Winter season the halfway point between the winter solstice and the spring equinox. To the ancient Celts this was Called Imbolc which was the festival of the Hearth and Fire goddess Brigid. Below are recent creations from my hearth.

The Ouroboros is a snake eating its own tail symbolizing The hermetic principle of Cause and effect otherwise known as Karma the cycle of reaping and sowing all actions will ultimately return onto the sender. very appropriate for the Chinese lunar year of the snake.


Horus the Solar falcon or hawk pins, hand cut and soldered from silver and Bronze sheet, Horus was symbolic of the rising Sun the protector of land, Truth and Freedom


Ankhs cast in Copper symbolizing the Union of masculine and feminine energy the hemispheres of the mind, Natural Law. The double headed axe an iconic weapon wielded by various solar and storm gods in mythology was also symbolic of the hemispheres of the mind and natural Law its purpose was to cleave the way for others. And of course silver rings set with tigers eye ,labaradite and the Ansuz rune, and a smaller single headed axe with the more practical application of splinting firewood for your hearth
