In Mythology Dragons and serpents are not inherently evil they are both the tempter and the redeemer, a chaotic force of nature inherent to every person that must be channeled properly being a symbol of Bio energy or Life force. Another meaning of the dragon is like the Magician of The Tarot the synthesis of the 4 elements, with the legs representing the earth, the scales Water, wings Air, and breath Fire, which esoterically represent physicality, emotion, intellect, and Willpower, those aspects of being alive that when combined and brought into harmony with each other that make the wielder truly capable of Miraculous action.
